A Blessing for the Divine Feminine (and All Who Mother)

Today, we celebrate Mother's Day.

For many, this day brings memories of a mother’s embrace, a voice that soothed, or perhaps the ache of absence—of what was, or what never came to be.

And for those who are mothers in the traditional sense—who have carried, birthed, and raised children—we honor you deeply.
We see the strength, the tenderness, the devotion, and the mystery of what it means to love in that way.

But beyond the flowers and gifts, what if Mother's Day could become something even more expansive?

What if it became a holy remembrance of the Divine Mother that lives within all of us?

Not only those who have given birth to children—but also those who have:

  • Held a positive pregnancy test, even if the journey ended or the path of motherhood unfolded differently.

  • Chose to give life through adoption, holding both love and letting go.

  • Walked the path of a stepmother—loving and tending without always being seen.

  • Birthed a vision into form—a business, a book, a movement.

  • Grown tomatoes in a small garden with devotion.

  • Offered a homemade meal with love.

  • Tended to a sick loved one with gentleness and grit.

  • Opened their arms when someone had no one else to turn to.

  • Learned to soften into receiving, trusting the sacred intelligence of the Divine Feminine.

  • Stood as protector for someone who couldn’t protect themselves.

  • Sat up through the night with an animal in pain, provided a loving home to a frightened rescue, or devoted years to the unconditional love of a companion being.

  • Lived with the unnameable grief of losing a child, yet still chose to love.

  • Midwifed themselves through transformation, again and again.

  • Chosen compassion over judgment, presence over productivity.

The Mother is not only an identity—it is a frequency.
She lives in men. She lives in women. She lives in all beings willing to let life move through them in love.

And as the Divine Feminine continues to rise on this planet—
not as a trend, but as a return—
we’re being called to remember the power of softness, the strength of receptivity, the courage of nurturing,
and the sacred wisdom of being over doing.

So today, we honor not only mothers,
But all who mother.
All who remember the sacred art of tending, listening, creating, nourishing, protecting, receiving, and loving unconditionally.

We honor you.

May this message land as a soft remembering,
a gift—for wherever you are
on the path of mothering,
in all its forms.

With love,
Alyssa
